and we're back!

So, that break ended up being a lot longer than a week. Oops! I'm still not feeling quite like myself, so the posting will be kind of light for a few more weeks, but I thought it was time to add something new to the blog.

And this isn't a new project. I know, enough with the sock and glove already ... but I made this little bunny for an Easter basket exchange I participated in on another blog, and I thought it turned out kind of sweet. I even added a mini-scarf, a la Martha.

The quilt in the background is a sneak peak at something new I've been working on (my very first quilt!) but it needs just a little more work before the reveal.

I am Laurel W.'s aunt and she just told me about your cute blog. I am loving all the great tutorials. Especially your felt food. What fun! Look forward to seeing more.

I’m glad you are back, and sharing more cute crafts! I just wanted to tell that I used your idea of decorating a diaper cake with coffee filter roses. Well, actually I decorated a towel cake with them, but I think it turned out pretty well. I loved the pictures from the baby shower that you threw with the tissue paper pom-pom flowers. I decorated almost the exact same way for my mother’s birthday. The theme was pink roses, and I used hot pink and light pink. I would have never thought of using green though, and it looked really good. I might have to steal that idea too! (Don’t worry though, I did give you credit for the coffee filter idea when I posted about the cake on my blog!) I really enjoy reading your blog, and I look forward to seeing more of your crafts!

You cannot POSSIBLY show us too many sock & glove animals. They are the only reason I'm considering learning how to sew. Well, that and quilting which you are totally on top of, apparently. :-)

Ah - You're back! I have missed your posts but am happy that you are feeling better.

I love the the "sock and glove" items. You can never have too many...besides then it helps me to figure out what to do myself. You're blog is my favorite to visit! Thanks for the inspiration.

I've been blog-stalking you since Blogger featured you on its home page. I think you've got skills, and I wish I had them.

Our Easter Bunny likes to leave something small and toy'ish in the baskets...and these are going to be perfect for that special morning. NOW, I have to get to work...

And if you have a give-away for that amazing quilt, be sure to let me know... ;)

That bunny belly button is PRECIOUS! And she looks right at home with that quilt. Can't wait to see the final version!

If you get time, I posted some pics of projects I have completed. No sock and glove animals, mostly stuff for me and my daughter and some baby gifts.

welcome back!!! echoing what others have said, "you have been missed, but we are glad you feel better and hope each day increases in health." cute bunny...love the nose and b-b. love quilts and wish i had more motivation to sew. i do think regular quilting is too much for me, but rag quilting seems a bit simpler from what i have seen. i might attempt that one of these days. hope all goes well with your quilt. love the colors, by the way!! have a great day.
