Another quick project for the labor bag - headbands! I'm not usually much of a headband girl, but wanted something to hold my hair back at the hospital. I like these so much that I wore one to work today. :)
You can find the easy tutorial and pattern
here at
Savvy Seams.

The second go round only took me 20 minutes - super easy!

2 weeks to go ...
p.s. don't forget - the
sock dog giveaway ends at midnight on Sunday!

Jill-
The headbands are super cute! Was wondering how well they stay without slipping back/off. And I also agree that if I could have only grew in the belly it would have been great, I unfortunantly had kankles for many many months
HOLY MOLY! I don't think I've seen a pic of you since like 20 weeks! Congrats and good luck!
These are so cute! I'll have to give them a try.
What great headbands!
And you look so amazing, bytheway. I hope all goes well in the next couple of weeks!!!
I've never commented on your blog before, but I've been enjoying it for a couple months. Just wanted to say--because I *know* a pregnant woman can't hear it enough--you look great, and you look happy. Good luck with that new baby when he comes!
You are so crafty and cute! I now have all sorts of ideas for my sonn-to-be-here baby. Like you, I am about ready to pop. Best of luck to you and thanks for all of the inspiration!
I was looking at your blog and scrolled through these pictures and my little 5 year old said, "she's pretty, she's pretty, she's pretty."
I have never had much luck with headbands staying on my head, but if you put fabric paint like on the non-slip socks on the "hair side" of the hedband it will give it just enough grip to not slide off of your head. Thanks and I am loving your crafty awesomeness!
cute headbands. cuter belly! congradulations
You look great with those headbands. Thanks for the link! You are the best. Congratz on the baby. I can't wait to see pictures.
What are the dimensions of the fabric for the headband? It doesn't say on the instructions. Thanks!
