I feel like I should be doing something productive, like the dishes, or at least a craft. But since Oscar got a bath today and I got to eat lunch, I'm going to count it as a productive day. :)
The Boy is finally sleeping and I have 4,360 unread posts in my Bloglines feeder. Hmm ... blog or chores ... tough choice.
I haven't left my apartment in two days, but life still feels grand.
He is soo beautiful!!! Dont feel like you have to do anything but get to know him, maybe nurse, eat, shower, walk around a little.....Honestly though, you want to recover NOW and not later. Ive done it both ways and its much beeter sooner than later :) He's sooo beautiful!!
OK Jill, I realize that you arent getting to your many many unread blogposts and that you have a new beautiful baby and that I dont evan actually know you :) BUT I am tagging you :)
What a little cutie pie! Days when mamas get to eat lunch are great! I remember the first few months with my little guy. I would sometimes choose a cat nap over lunch. A glass of milk and cranberry bread would tide me over for quite a while. Keep your favorite bread sliced in a tupperware container for midnight snacks too! Have fun with Oscar :) Amy http://newenglandquilter.blogspot.com/
How handsome he is....what a cutie. So happy to see you on here at least for a bit. You just take care of yourself and get naps when he is down also, it will help. Happy Holiday to you and yours.
Jill, I'm Suzy - one of your "lurkers..." I just have to say that someday you and I will have to meet - I think we are scarily similar (except I've never met Queen Martha)! I also just had a baby boy (Sept. 20) and his name is Oscar, too! Let me know if you are ever up for a crafting play-date! Seriously! I have a baby blog at http://jellybean.grrrlmeetsworld.com.
Awwwww! You know he is just the cutest little thing ever! Seriously. I hope everything is going well and glad you are getting at least a little sleep. Take care and keep us updated! (By the way: blog over chores any day of the week of course) :)
Welcome back! I was having homemade by jill withdrawals. Your little one is adorable; I wish mine had a head of hair like that. My husband says, "He's your cutest craft of all."
Take one day at a time, when my little girl was that young I found it impossible to do ANYTHING. Looking back that time passes so quickly and now that she is almost two I have tons of time,( well not tons) to craft and blog :) Take care & I love your blog!!
