quiet book, page 8

Another page finished. Whew! When this book is done, I am taking a long vacation from hand-sewing.

This page focuses on counting, matching numbers, and manipulating snaps.

There are also a couple of flaps with surprises underneath.

All of the numbers and ducks are attached to the page with snaps.

I'm heading out of town to visit my family and to get some cuddle time in with a new nephew ... so this will be the only quiet book page this week. I'll check in with a different project in a couple of days. :)

it has been such a long while since i have stopped by, and i am happy to see that you are still as busy as ever with your fun craftiness. i hope you are well... I just wanted to stop by and thank you. Your post last year on papercut city scapes encouraged me to look into papercutting, and since that time has become one of my favorite activities. I am hosting a giveaway, and i thought I would invite you to come over to my new craft blog to check it out. Have a great day...

I love coming to your blog every few days and seeing what you have come up with for that quiet book. That is pure genius and I hope to someday be able to muster up enough craftiness to be able to make one for one of our children. lol.

About that reading program...a friend of mine bought it and LOVES it. The infommercials are pretty convincing but, like you, I can't part with my money for it. lol. Sometimes I wonder how we even got along when we were younger...let alone the pre-tv/radio/microwave/dishwasher/washing machine/etc generations.

Jill, you are absolutely amazing. Really, this book is so awesome. I made one for my son, so I know how much work goes into it and mine still didn't look as awesome as yours!

By the way, I've been using your green blanket you made for Sheldon for my new little one and I get compliments on it wherever I go! Thank you so much for it, it really is so adorable.

This is adorable - love the ducks. I have been working on a book for (at first) my granddaughter, but now, after seeing how long it is taking, I think it will stay here at Grammie's house for all my (future) grandchildren to use.
