I am now obsessed with learning how to make baby booties!! Love them all. I think the purple pair is my favorite.I'm a sucker for the polka dot..mac :)
I love the booties! A wonderful donation for such a wonderful cause.
I like the first pair! So cute!
Those are adorable! I just heard of Craft Hope too and am excited for the next project.
This round of botties are great. So I'm curious - you've tried several different pattens/styles - which do you think is easiest for someone who's trying to get up the courage to try to make a pair for a baby due in Nov?
valerie - this pattern is definitely the easiest I've used. There are only two pieces and it is made entirely with fabric - no elastic required. This pattern makes a great newborn shoe, while the stardust shoe pattern is a better fit for 3-9 months.
I love those baby booties! I wish I had time to make some myself.
I'm honored! They are gorgeous!
I love them! I made a pair from the same pattern, and plan to make more. Did you use any interfacing or batting?
deldobuss - I didn't use interfacing or batting ... just two layers of cotton. I figured light-weight would be good for this project because they were heading out to a warm-weather climate.
