First, a little something for Halloween:
Then, a bit of circus animal fun:
My mom is in town for Oscar's birthday and helped me crank out these last two pages. She did all the little french knots for the popcorn. Doesn't it look delicious?
Serious progress was made on the playhouse today. So excited!

Visiting moms Rock. Are you using a Darning foot to sew around all those pieces? or just the bodies of the circus animals?
Oh, Jill, Jill. You are sooo creative. I love your stuff!
I don't have a darning foot - I just use the regular one to sew around the animals, and a lot of this book was hand embroidered and sewn together.
Hand sewing?! Bah. I hate hand sewing! Love your book though! Very cute, I wish I was that creative! I just copy the creativity of others!! lol And your little pac man ghost is my favorite!
Wow! I love this idea, I want to make such a book too...but there are so many lovely projects to make (you probably know what I am talking about..)
Greetings from Mama Lieveheersbeestje.
Jill what a great book! I don't know which one I like best! x
Aww those are so cute!
Jill,
I have been lurking here for a while, and must tell you how much I love these books you make! My son mouths everything... and chews up books, to my dismay. I want him so much to hold and manipulate his books but I don't want him eating paper... This is just the perfect solution! I wish I could sew just to put together a book like this! It will be my new year's resolution!
Thanks for inspiring me!
These books you have been making are adorable! I really want to make one, as soon as my three little kids give me the chance. We have a transatlantic flight scheduled for early december, so I hope to get some books finished to surprise them on the plane.
What type of felt are you using? You are using felt for everything right?
How do you attach all of the pages together? I adore your book(s)! I want to make one too. Thanks for sharing!!
You are a quiet book making machine. Very Cute!
this is perfect because I'd like to do something like this because it seems simple I've tried with other patterns and my results have been terrible.
I love your work and it inspired me to do one for a special little girl that is experiencing a awful divorce...she is so sad and I told her grandma I would make her one.
I would love you all to check out the one I am making,
