Dana's Rollie Pollies

I feel like asking, "ever heard of MADE?" is kind of on the same scale as asking, "ever heard of the internet?"
so I'm going to assume you already know all about the fabulous Dana and her mad sewing skills.  Last week I sewed one of her Rollie Pollies (pattern available here) and I am hooked!  I already have plans to make the larger size.

The small size is the perfect pouf for an 18 month old, but I think Oscar would enjoy the big one for ultimate lounging.
(p.s. the fabric is P Kaufmann Indoor/Outdoor Soho Pool found at Fabric.com)

Two questions:

1.Where in this great world did you get that FABULOUS blue fabric?!?!?!? I have the hardest time finding non-cheesy/juvenile boy fabric. (I have 1 girl and 3 boys)

2. What was your total cost for all the materials?

Thanks so much!

oooo, love it! I just bought fabric to make my oldest daugher one for her birthday (with plans to make another for my youngest who's 18 months). Thanks for the fabric source, I didn't think to use indoor/outdoor fabric!

I have the pattern and most of the materials. I just need to find cute fabric to coordinate with my daughter's room. Dana's patterns are SO well presented and truly a pleasure to follow. Love her and her outstanding creativity!

I love this project and hope I can get up the nerve to try it one day. What kind of filling did you use?
