This is about all I can manage to sew these days ... a few hand stitches to make an easy headband. I unpacked the sewing machine over the weekend to give me some motivation, but for some reason, crafting after midnight doesn't have the allure that it used to. Bare with me!

very cute! I have made a couple of headbands for my daughter (7 mths old), but I am having a hard time finding elastic in colors other than white or nude....any suggestions? Thanks so much, and love your blog and creative ideas.
How adorable!
I love it!! I want one to wear! I also love these kinds of projects because I haven't touched a sewing machine since junior high. And baby Ruby is scrumptious!
I like sleep too!! :)
Where do you get the elastic?
Adorable! Sleep is important!
Enjoy every season of life. Your in the greatest season of all!
Thanks for your inspiration!
This is so stinkin cute!!!
I am still majorly impressed at your craftiness post-baby! She's adorable, as is the headband! Make her wear em' now cause in a few months they'll be ripped right off!
That's gorgeous, I love the little beads! Now go get some sleep, no more twilight crafting!
were all moms. And totally understand. We wouldn't want anything different. Family is definitely first! Such a cute headband.
Get your rest... you need it! One thing I learned as a parent is with sleep all thing are possible... and I only have one baby to take care of. Take your time getting back into the swing of things. ;)
cute! and don't worry, you need a break...as much as i do miss your frequent posts, everyone still loves you and i'll certainly keep checking in each day just in case ;)

Adorable!! and the head band is cute too :)
Cute cute cute!!!! I have a 3 1/2 year old boy and 8 month old girl. Totally understand. I use to love putting him to bed and making a cup of coffee and crafting till 1 or 2 in the morning. Now with 2 kids I am so freaking tired by 9 I just don't have the strength!! Thank you for inspiring me with each and every post!! Kelly
Tell me where you got that band!? So cute.
Baby fat fab!!! lol The head band is precious and the baby is adorable!!!
The headband is darling, but oh my the baby is even sweeter! Love it!!!
I do love most of the things you make, but I find it soooo hard to understand why put a headband in a baby! she is so cut as is, why try to make her grow early?
cheers,
Mariana
I adore this cute headband, simple yet fabulous! Great work! Anyway, I like your little model, she is so adorable! :)
love the headbands :) my daughter wears one everyday and the amount of compliments I receive are outstanding!
She's so cute your little girl with this flower in her (few) hair ... I understand you, with a baby or two, at midnight, a bed is more seductive than everything else ...
Have a good night !
My 2nd baby is now 9 months and I can count the amount of times I have been able to sew on one hand. You're doing good Jill! Super cute.
This is so sweet! If I had a baby girl I would definitely buy one! As it is, I've only got a son and my husband is very against me cutseying him up at all - and I do mean in a boyish cutsey way.
This is SOOOO...... cute!
She is so cute, Jill! I hope you're doing well. Those first few sleepless months are SO hard. Hang in there. I like the headband, too!
I just posted about your fabric high chair.
Cute flower. I like the irregular shaped petals. Very pretty.
Oh and I am with you on sewing lately...my hands are often too full and I am too tired to sew. :)
Love to see Ruby looking so cute! How's her dress coming along? She is getting big....will it fit her in Sept.? Love you!
Aww I love little headbands like that!
I found you through Survey Junkie's Linkup! Have a great weekend.

Jill,
I know how you feel. Baby #3 (Charlie) is 2 1/2 months old and I am having the hardest time finding motivation to make anything! Trying to get back in the swing of things. Good luck.

Oh that sweet baby LOVE
For the elastic, I just cut down a Goodie brand headband - a good newborn head size is about 12 inches.
Hi Jill,
I'm an italian mom and a just born blogger. Your works are very very nice!!! Congratulations for your baby!!!
So adorable! Your daughter looks like a doll. Anyway, I would also love to make that kind of headband for my one month-old baby girl. :)
AWWWW, I LOVE IT! WHERE DO YOU FIND THE COLORED ELASTIC? I AM IN THE PROCESS OF TURNING SOME OF MY CROCHETED FLOWERS INTO HEADBANDS AND WOULD LOVE MORE COLORFUL ELASTICS!
BTW, YOUR LITTLE ONE IS GORGEOUS! MY HUSBAND AND I JUST HAD OUR 5TH BABY - A LITTLE GIRL AS WELL!
