If you are looking for the Silhouette giveaway, click here.
I experimented with vinyl on my Silhouette yesterday by giving my pantry a little facelift.
First, I added labels to the plastic containers that store my baking ingredients. Then I added a little conversion chart to the inside of my cupboard door for measurements I am always forgetting.
I've never cut vinyl before, and I was so pleased with how easy it was to cut and apply. I'm tempted to add a little vinyl design to my refrigerator door as well (and am doing my best to not get carried away and vinyl everything).
Want to see a clever way to use vinyl to make custom artwork? Vanessa at V & Co. has also been posting about Silhouette this week, and I love how she used it on canvas.
The Silhouette Giveaway here ends tonight at midnight, so don't forget to enter if you haven't already. I'll be choosing a random winner over the weekend and will announce who the lucky person is on Monday!

Oh how I wish my pantry looked like this!
You are making me so jealous with all the cute projects you are doing with your new "toy"! :)
I'm a self proclaimed recovered vinyl addict myself! I wanted to "vinyl-ize" EVERYTHING! But with practiced restraint I was able to use my vinyl machine tastefully! :) Good luck and love the completed projects!
L♥VE this!! I want to do this to my pantry so badly! I'll bookmark it so I remember WHEN I win the giveaway, lol!
I love this idea! My bins are all stainless steel and I have to guess what's inside. More than once I've used salt instead of sugar....yuck!
And can you believe how many people entered teh giveaway!?! AMAZING!
Where may I ask did you get your containers for your flour and sugar, and how big are they? I've been looking for storage containers big enough for a while, it seems like everything is too small and you can only fit one small bag or half a bag in one, and then what's the use of that?
Great idea!

I've been looking for storage for my dry stuff for some time now too! I never thought about using those containers!! Thanks for sharing your pictures :)
I so love this idea. My cupboards have containers with sharpie on them to identify them. I love this though and it would look so much neater.
Love it!
I don't normally comment, but I LOVE this idea! It just gave me another idea that I can't wait to implement someday!
what a cute and classy.. and simple idea to help with organization!! perfect timing as I am moving into a new place and will need help getting my new cupboards in order!

this really makes me want to win the giveaway! while my cupboards are labeled with the old skool label maker- its not the same!
fyi: those containers look like they are the lock and lock brand which i LOVE!
You sure have been busy!!!
This is amazing! I really hope I win the giveaway! My husband will be happy too so I don't have to buy one of those!
I just did my first vinyl project this past week too. I love what you did! It's so cute!
Man That is so cool. I love the conversion table. I do most of my baking by weight now so I would do a weight chart for flour and sugar ect.
Thanks for sharing this.

Awesome!! I love how simple and neat the labels are. Just perfect. Where can I find those great containers?? I'd love to win! Fingers crossed!
Dear Jill,
Please stop linking up to your giveaway. It's messing up my odds of winning.
hahah.
Love,
Jan
I entered the giveaway and have high hopes :) But I'm getting an email for every single person who posts a comment! How do I stop it?!
Okay, now I NEED one of these things! I want an organized pantry so badly!!
Now you won't make Frank's mistake and make gravy out of powdered sugar (instead of flour) like happened at last Thanksgiving.
Such great ideas! Thank you for sharing. :)
well I see your having a great fun !!! I'm a bit jalous ! lol
I really got to win the machine !
bravo !

You did a great job on the pantry. I could use this in my own. I have a well organized pantry area with labels on my containers already but they are sticky type labels and very old so they're peeling off. This would be awesome to win and be able to fix all the icky labels I have now.
Oh my goodness I really hope I win, becase I absolutely LOVE this idea.
Fingers crossed!!!
I never thought about doing this before! What an awesome idea - especially for someone as Type-A Everything-Must-Be-Organized as I am.
I love the conversions on the inside of the door!! I'd want to do that with metric and imperial at my house! So many times recipes call of an x oz. can... everything here is marked in mL!!
I would also like to know where you got you containers. I have been looking for some like these. They make your pantry look so nice.
