astronomy club t-shirts

My husband and father-in-law are total astronomy buffs - on a clear night, they haul their giant telescopes into the back yard and search the skies.   Oscar likes to "help" by touching things he shouldn't and shining the flashlight in grandpa's eyes.

I couldn't resist making the guys some matching t-shirts (using my silhouette, what else?) so I can pretend they have an official club.  Now if I can only convince them to put the shirts on all at the same time for a picture!  :)

Everything is cuter toddler-sized, don't you think?

LOVE them. So cute! Reminds me of our late-night "Snipe" Hunts with my granddad. That might make a pretty funny shirt, too :)

That's really cute! We're way into math and science around here, so I always love to see stuff like this. And so fun it's an activity they all do together.

These are so cute! I just got a Silhouette for Christmas and I've been wanting to make some shirts and other things, but I have some questions. Do you have an email address that I could ask you a few questions? You can email me at Teacherb314@gmail.com
Thanks!
Bridget

Hi Jill, I'm making family t-shirts for our winter ski weekend. Did you use freezer paper in your silhouette to make these or is it a normal stencil or a heat transfer? I got a silhouette for christmas and am still a bit intimidated by it- i'm learning though!

Leah - I used the silhouette heat transfer. It works really well!

Has your family ever been to the observatory at Westmont College? They just built a new facility!! I went to school there and just got back from a visit to Santa Barbara -- I kept hoping I would somehow bump into you in Trader Joes while I was there. :) I LOVE your blog!
