As I was gluing a bazillion 1-inch punched paper rainbow dots to Ruby's bean bag toss board yesterday, I realized about 3/4 of the way through that a similar effect could have been achieved much more easily with some pretty wrapping paper. Duh. Motherhood may have melted my brain, but apparently has boosted my patience.
At least bean bags are fast and easy to make!

lol! I did the same thing while making some favors for Sadie's party-wasted some time when it wasn't necessary! Oh well, it's for a party, so it's fun no matter what, right? (most of the time)
I've been brainstorming game ideas for my kids' birthday party in August and a bean bag toss would be perfect! I'm so glad their birthdays are shortly after Ruby's!
I love your fabric choices! So many fun colors! Thank goodness we have motherhood to blame our " what was i thinking" moments on! If not, we would be in trouble!

Ha! That sounds exactly like somehthing I would do!
Those are the cutest bean bags I have ever seen!!! I have to make some!
can't wait to see and hear about the festivities. have fuN! Ruby has a ROCK STAR for a MOMMA.
You are so right about motherhood boosting your patience while letting your brain leak out of your ears!!! I get frequent comments about how "patient" I am with my very um...lol enthusiastic...children :) However on any give day I can never remember where I have laid down my keys or my cell phone! You really made me giggle with that one. :)
Looks good for the party though! I'm looking to be having a party soon for my eldest, and watching you put yours together is exciting!
I love the bean bag toss idea! How did you make the bean bag toss board? We are living overseas and don't have access to a pre-made one. Any creative thoughts? Could I use a cardboard box or would that look too cheap?? Also, did you put actual beans in your bean bags or did you use rice? Thanks! LOVE, LOVE your blog!
